What we do

Glass, measured and fitted properly.

Domestic and commercial glazing across the Surf Coast, from a single cracked pane to a whole bathroom's worth of frameless glass. If you are not sure what you need, call and describe it.

Broken window repairs

A smashed or cracked pane made safe and replaced. When a window goes through, we can often be there and have it done the same day.

Pet doors into glass

Cat and dog doors cut neatly into sliding doors, French doors, bifolds and fixed panels. The job we get asked for most.

Frameless shower screens

Tired framed screens taken out and replaced with clean frameless glass. It changes the whole feel of a bathroom.

Glass splashbacks

Toughened coloured glass measured, cut and fitted behind a benchtop or cooktop. Seamless, and it wipes clean.

Mirrors

Mirrors cut to size and shape, including arched and custom profiles, for bathrooms, wardrobes and feature walls.

Glass cut to size

Bring your measurements in to the Cylinders Drive workshop and we will cut your glass to them, accurately, while you wait where we can.

Aluminium window repairs

Older style aluminium windows reglazed and put right, with a neat finish rather than a patch.

Emergency glazing

Glass broken at a rental, a shop or a client's place. Call and we will get it secure and repaired quickly.

We will come out, measure up properly and tell you what it costs before anything is ordered. No charge for that.

The job we are known for

Pet doors, cut into glass.

Most glaziers will replace a pane. Cutting a clean hole in one and fitting a pet door into it is a different job, and it is the one we do more than any other. Sliding doors, timber French doors, aluminium bifolds and big fixed panels.

The glass comes out, gets cut and toughened to suit the door you have chosen, and goes back in. No timber panel bodged into the bottom of the frame, no gap around the edge. Your dog gets the run of the yard and the door still looks like a door.

Splashbacks and mirrors, cut to your space.

A glass splashback is measured off the real wall, not off a plan, then toughened and fitted in one piece so there are no grout lines to scrub. Mirrors are the same story: cut to the size you want, including arched and shaped profiles, with polished edges.
